Prayer, please!

Just wanted to pop in and ask for prayer.

You see, I don't love my job. I love the people, but despise the company. They care only about the "bottom line" and not the people. I am VERY patient-care oriented, and can not support a company that is not.
Sooooo, I've applied and interviewed for a new job. It is the office manager position for a pediatric physician. I LOVE KIDDOS!!! It sounds very promising, and very rewarding.
And, because the hours are not as many as the current job I have, I could go back to school to get my RN - THEN I COULD FINALLY STUDY TO BECOME A MID WIFE!!! MY LIFE-LONG DREAM!!!!

Prayers are coveted. These are MY wants, and I want to make sure I am lining up with what GOD wants for me and mines. Pray with me?

MAHALO AND MUCH ALOHA!!!

20 YEARS!

Today, April 1st, 2010, Jerome and I have been together for 20 YEARS!!!! I can't even find the words to describe how much he means to me. I am so blessed to call him lover, best friend, counselor, condidante, cheer leader, team player, priest of our home, love giver, joy bringer....

Below are the lyrics to a song that perfectly describes what he is to me:

He Is

by Heather Headley

Oh my, where do, how do I begin To answer the question

I know you been wonderin'?

When could, why could, how could it all be true?

These things, who's that, and what's it to you?

He is the mind injector, the heart protector

The sole defender of anything I fear

The baby conceiver, the make me believer

The joy bringer, the love giver

He is

the dough increaser, the pleasure releaser

The hard-knocks knower without the scars to show ya

The night school teacher, the good life preacher

The caretaker, the kiss craver

He is

Mahalo and much Aloha

I'm so sad today. My very favorite patient at The Kidney Center passed away on Friday 2/26. It was a good thing, as he's been oh-so-sick for the last few months. I'm glad God graciously took him home.
BUT - he was like a "Bonus" Grandpa to me. He wrote me poetry, he played harmonica for the team here at the center. He always had a witty joke to make us smile.
Dr. Jack, you will be missed. I love you and will see you when I get there!

Happy Birthday, My Love!

My sweet husband is 35 today. My heart leaps at the thought of him. I am so blessed that he is in my life, and I feel his parents deserve a thank-you from me! Momma Belinda is in Heaven, and Poppa Lemon is still here with us. I sure wish I had a picture to share of them. Anyhoo, I'm posting a few pics that make me smile when I think of my beloved.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEROME LAFAYETTE LENDALE LINZIE WILLIAMS!!

Mahalo!

Laelo Catchamellow

For the past two weeks, our 3 month old puppy Laelo has been fighting the Parvo virus. He was on death's door. We had to give him IV fluids every two hours, meds three times a day, and lots of cuddles and encouragement for him to fight to live! Well, on Tuesday evening of this week, he started to drink water and sniff food. Wednesday morning, he woke up like his old self! He was wagging his tail, eating, drinking, jumping, etc. HE IS WINNING THE FIGHT!!!!

We were so scared. He is our 1st puppy, and we attached to him so quickly! We were so sad to think he may not make it.

GOD IS GOOD! HE CARES ABOUT THE THINGS WE CARE ABOUT!!!!

Keep praying for him - the fight is still on. Reoccurance is common, and I really can't afford to go through this again. SO, please pray he's fought it and won't get it again!

MAHALO, AND MUCH ALOHA!!
